GEAR UP at Missouri Black Expo

This summer GEAR UP was one of the organization that was featured at the Missouri Black Expo in Saint Louis.  Families, educators, students and our GEAR UP partners came together to participate at this event.  Our panelist included a few local artists of the Saint Louis metropolitan area that were present with their parents or family members. The focus of the discussion was to show the influence that parents and family involvement has on student performance and their success.  Here are just a few pictures that covers this wonderful event that was hosted at the Missouri Black Expo 2006.  To find out more about the Missour Black Expo and what they stand for, please click here
